The weekend is always a busy one in Goulburn, the dates coinciding with Goulburn’s Birthday on 14 March - now 155 years old, and the Our Living History event https://ourlivinghistory.com.au/.  Here are some ideas:

  • the newly-landscaped Goulburn War Memorial & Museum on Rocky Hill - look-out open 7am-5pm; museum unfortunately closed for renovations;

  • relax at the Goulburn Club, Market St - operating in these premises since 1883 - open Sat: 5-midnight Sun: 1-5pm http://www.goulburnclub.com.au
  • soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear with a stroll around the Belmore Park precinct - including Parkside Markets on Saturday morning
  • wander through the many public rose gardens such as in Victoria Park;
